You can request deletion of your Smart Mandal account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what gets deleted.

🔸 तुमचं Smart Mandal खातं व त्याच्याशी जोडलेली वैयक्तिक माहिती कधीही हटवण्याची विनंती करू शकता. कसं करायचं ते खाली दिलं आहे.

How to request deletion / विनंती कशी करायची

Send us a message from your registered mobile number or email saying you want your account deleted. / तुमच्या नोंदणीकृत मोबाईल किंवा email वरून "माझं खातं हटवा" असा निरोप पाठवा.
Mention your mandal name and your login mobile number. / मंडळाचं नाव व login मोबाईल नंबर लिहा.
We will verify it is really you, then delete the account. / खात्री करून आम्ही खातं हटवतो.

What is deleted / काय हटवलं जातं

Data	What happens
Login credentials (mobile, password)	Deleted — you can no longer sign in
Your personal profile (name, email, photo)	Deleted or anonymised
Push notification device tokens	Deleted — notifications stop
Mandal financial records (collections/expenses you recorded)	These belong to your mandal's official books. The entries remain with the mandal, but your personal identifiers are anonymised on request

🔸 वर्गणी/खर्चाच्या नोंदी मंडळाच्या अधिकृत हिशोबाचा भाग असल्याने त्या मंडळाकडे राहतात — पण तुमची वैयक्तिक ओळख (नाव इ.) विनंतीनुसार काढून टाकली जाते.

Timeline / कालावधी

Deletion is completed within 30 days of verification. / पडताळणीनंतर ३० दिवसांत हटवलं जातं.
Backups clear within a further 30 days. / Backup प्रती पुढील ३० दिवसांत साफ होतात.
Financial records that law requires us to keep (e.g. tax/audit) are retained only as long as legally necessary.

Partial deletion / अर्धवट हटवणं

If you only want some data removed (for example your photo, or push notifications stopped) instead of full account deletion, tell us in the same message — no need to delete the whole account.

Mandal admins note

If you are the mandal admin and want the entire mandal (all members, records and the mandal website) removed from the platform, contact us on the same channels — we will verify with the registered contact person before removing the mandal.
